Terms of Use
Last updated: [[DATE]]
These terms apply when you use Score Guru — the website at [[DOMAIN]] and the Android app (together, "the service"). The service is run by [[OPERATOR FULL NAME]], [[POSTAL ADDRESS]], [[OPERATOR COUNTRY]] ("we", "us"). Contact: [[CONTACT EMAIL]].
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the service is
- The service shows cricket scores, ball-by-ball updates, scorecards, commentary and match schedules.
- It is free. You do not need an account.
- We may add, change or remove features at any time. We may stop the service, fully or in part. We will try to give notice of big changes, but we do not have to.
2. For information only
- Scores and match data come from third-party data providers, who get them from scorers at the ground.
- Live data can be late, wrong, incomplete or corrected later (for example after a review or a scorer's correction). We show updates as fast as we can, but we cannot promise that they are correct, complete or on time.
- Always check official sources if accuracy matters to you.
3. No betting advice
- The service does not offer betting, odds or betting tips. Nothing in it is advice to bet or to make any financial decision.
- Do not rely on the service for betting. Data may be delayed or wrong, and other people may have faster sources.
- If you bet elsewhere, you do so at your own risk and must follow the law where you live.
4. Who owns what
- The service (its design, software, text and the Score Guru name and logo) belongs to us.
- Match data is © [[DATA PROVIDER, e.g. EntitySport]] and its licensors, and is used under licence.
- Team names, logos, competition names and player names belong to their owners. We use them only to say which team or match the data is about. Their use does not mean that any team, league, board or player supports or works with us.
- Score Guru is not connected with the ICC, any national cricket board, league or team.
- You may use the service for your own, personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to it.
If you own rights in something shown in the service and think we use it wrongly, email [[CONTACT EMAIL]] and we will look at it quickly.
5. What you must not do
- Do not copy, scrape, crawl or resell our data or content, or use it in another app, website or product.
- Do not use bots or scripts to make automated requests, except normal search-engine indexing of the website.
- Do not overload, attack, test the security of, or try to break into the service or its servers.
- Do not copy, change or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
- Do not use the service against the law.
We may block access (for example from an IP address) that breaks these rules or harms the service.
6. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be slow or unavailable at times — for example during maintenance, when a data provider has problems, or when many people use it at once. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
7. Liability
- The service is free. We are liable without limit only for damage caused on purpose or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.
- In all other cases, we are not liable, in particular not for losses caused by late, wrong or missing data, by interruptions, or by decisions you make based on the service (including bets).
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Links and third parties
The service may link to other websites or app stores. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Privacy
How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when we add features. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and courts
- These terms are governed by the law of [[OPERATOR COUNTRY]].
- If you are a consumer living in another country, you still keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
- If one part of these terms is not valid, the rest still applies.
